1. Correctly separate recyclables and garbage
2. On the correct collection date, put garbage in the designated bag and put it out by 08:30am in the morning
3. Place in the designated station for each type

Do not mix batteries in with non-burnable trash or plastics!

Trash can not be collected unless it is in the designated bags !

Okazaki City has five designations of trash bags.

* Trash bags are available for purchase at supermarkets, drug stores, convenient stores, etc.

Trash will only be picked up if it has been set out at a collection station !

In Okazaki City, the places designated for trash pick-up are called collection stations （Gomi Station）.

There are three types of garbage stations: burnable garbage stations, non-burnable garbage stations, and recycling stations.

* How to find your collection station
To find your collection station, check with your building manager, a neighbour or the president of the neighbourhood association.

Trash set out on days other than its designated pick up days will not be collected !

You can check the correct type and collection date on the "Garbage Collection Calendar".

Collection days and types of trash collected on those days can be checked on your smartphone.
